What is the purpose of life?
There are roughly 380,000 babies born each day around the world and they all will have a childhood and one day become an adult. Their life expectancy to live up to is averagely 73 years.
During childhood they will learn from their close community and the world around them. Then as they become an adult they will leave the nest and find their own path.
As adults we have our set ways and methods in life, and will begin to make our own choices and ask many questions.
It is why before we begin our life journey, we need to understand what is our purpose or what is the meaning in life? What is the truth in life? Then only can we start living our life as how we were meant to live.
Though as humans we need to apply our skills to create our daily food and shelter, we all however have a much greater purpose in life. When it is stated we, it means every single soul here on this earth, no one is except from this path in life.
The first task for all the humans is to search how we came to be? or who created us? When we have the answer to this question we can then learn from him why he created us.
From the truth revealed to all Christians, we understand Jesus created us and gave us the freedom to seek him and learn about him. When we do find God, learn about him, it is then we understand his purpose for all of us in life.
What are placed here are the fundamental foundations to creating a purposeful and peaceful life that all Christians are to follow under our Lord God. This lifestyle also extends to all humans that live on this earth.
The first purpose in life is that we are to learn to love the Lord our God with all our heart. As stated in:
Mark 12: 30 - And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all they heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
When we love our God we learn to build a relationship with him, we learn to build our faith in Jesus and we also learn to fulfil his plan for all humans.
The second generic rule or purpose commanded by God that need to be followed in any path that is lead can be found here:
Genesis 1: 28 - And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
As God formed Adam and Eve the first two humans on earth, he first blessed them as they were created in the likeness of God.
Then God commanded them to first be fruitful. Meaning we are to learn about the fruits of the Spirit. As state in:
Galatians 5:22 - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith
and in:
Galatians 5:23 - Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
As humans our purpose is to learn the nature of our loving God that we are to love the world as he does, give peace like he does, be gentle as he is and so forth. Building these characteristics of God helps us live a Spirit filled life.
Then as we live a spiritual life it leads us to be ready to take the next step in life and that is to find a good spouse and multiply.
Meaning our purpose is to build a family, have children under the guidance of our Lord God and to settle in all parts of the planet. As stated in:
Titus 1: 6 - If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.
Then our purpose while building a family is to subdue life on earth. As the population grows, we are to guide the people, teach the people and provide peace to the people in fairness and justice. To ensure that all are treated equally and to resolve any matters that needs attention.
Then finally our purpose is to have dominion over every living creature on earth that is on land, in the water and of the air.
We are to preserve and protect what God has created for him and for us. We have the freedom to consume what we need, utilise what we need and then we need to let nature live in peace.
This is the full purpose of every living human on earth and today we too need to walk in righteousness, protect our children, and build a road for future generations can also have a peaceful life.
We also have to keep our faith that we do not lose heart and fall for the traps of darkness. As stated in:
Revelations 14:12 - Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
We have the knowledge and capacity to make formal and educated decisions that can provide the basics to every living soul on this earth.
This also includes seeking, learning, believing and sharing the love that Jesus has for everyone.
However to begin to understand the purpose of our life, we need to ask the person who gave us life and that is from our Lord Jesus.
Ask Jesus and learn through the word of God the bible and build your true purpose in life.
"The first purose in life is that we are to learn to love the Lord our God with all our heart."
