Why God is needed?

We all have our beliefs, we all have our way of living. Whatever road we are on, every human on this earth must ask two questions. One, where did we come from? And two, what happens to us when we die?

These two questions are absolutely fundamental to our way of thinking and mostly living. These are also the two roads that lead to God, (in the Christian truth) because we did not bring ourselves to this planet, and only Jesus knows our final destination after we die.

The answer to the first question is not as relevant to the answer to the second. Due to what happens to us when we die has a strong connection to the vital question why God is needed now?

Nevertheless we begin with the facts to the first question, where did we come from? The answer is God brought us into this life. As state in:

Jeremiah 1:5 - Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

For this reason alone, we have to recognise and be grateful, for this simple fact that it was the good Lord Jesus who brought us into this world.

No one alive is except from his creation, regardless of their belief and their choosing. Everyone in the past, everyone in the present and those in the future were all brought forward to earth by the God of the Christians.

Now we commence to answer the second question. What happens to us when we die? We begin by stating, death is imminent to us all, this is the first truth and no one on this earth can deny this fact.

The second truth is that by default we are all going to hell after we die. This truth also includes all the Christians before they became saved Christians as followers of Jesus Christ.

Why we are all destined to hell? It is because we have inherited the nature of physical death from Adam and Eve. Due to their actions, all of mankind is destined to go to hell. As stated in:

Romans 5:12 - Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.

Adam disobeyed and ate the fruit off the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. By eating that fruit God said that he will surely die. As state in:

Genesis 3:3 - But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

Being deceived by the devil, the first two humans disobeyed God and inherited death. God hates death, and in God's eye death is a sin, and because all men are to die, we have all sinned and the wages of sin is death. As state in:

Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

As we live today, contemplate on this point, there will come a time when we also are going to physically depart from this world. The ultimate question now is, are we prepared for when death comes? Or are we also on the road to hell?

Then how do we escape from this destructive path, what needs to be done? Man alone cannot escape or do anything to save themselves. For no man has the power or can their immense wealth do anything, only Jesus has the power to save our souls from Hell. As stated in:

John 11:25 - Jesus said unto her,  I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

Our good Lord Jesus came down to earth from Heaven, showed us how to live a righteous life, was crucified, and on the third day rose again from the dead. Defeating death he now has the keys to Hell and death. As stated in:

Revelation 1:18 - I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Now in order for us to escape the lake of fire, we need to do nothing that is exertive. Our tasks are to learn about God, follow Jesus and believe and accept that he died on the cross for us and defeated the stronghold that death had on all mankind. As stated in:

1 Thessalonians 4:14 - For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

We also simply need to sincerely recognise, understand and earnestly believe that Jesus is alive. That when we are to turn to him and be saved from the depths of hell. As stated in:

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Most of the converted Christians were once also did not believe in the Lord Jesus, and their end also would have been to be sentenced to hell.

God in his love showed mercy on them and shared the truth to them and they believed. Now they have inherited the gift of salvation. Hence,  they have been provided the path to the Father through our Lord Jesus Christ. As state in:

John 14:6 - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

God will also show mercy now to those that will come to him from all and any language. That those that were kept in the dark from the truth by the evil of the world, can also find salvation today.

This is why we need God, this is why we need to seek Jesus.

There is still time, turn to Jesus, today.

"Our good Lord Jesus came down to earth from Heaven, showed us how to live a righteous life, was crucified, and on the third day rose again from the dead."
